So here is a quick guide on how you can use the Alexa multi room music system with Amazon Echo devices.

  1. Open the Alexa App.
  2. Click devices.
  3. Tap the plus sign placed in the top right corner. 4.Tap add multi room music speaker.

If you are a fan of enjoying stereo sounds then it’s a great news for you as you can play the same music on your all echo devices using Amazon’s multi-room music feature. So you can easily enjoy the experience of Sono style multi room music feature you can do it with your multiple Alexas.

But before jumping to enable Multi room music feature you need to make sure about which devices are supported. Usually all the versions of Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Echo dot are supported but if you have Echo tap or Fire TV then sadly you can’t enable Multi room music feature. Also be sure that all the devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

After you are done with checking everything head over to enabling multi room music feature:

  1. Open the Alexa App.
  2. Click devices.
  3. Tap the plus sign placed in the top right corner.
  4. Tap add multi room music speaker.
  5. Select all the speakers you want to include.
  6. Create a group and name it.
  7. Hit save.

And you are all set to say “alexa, start playing (group name).

One more thing you need to know that you can easily stream music from Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Tunein, pandora, iHeartRadio and more.

So start enjoying this multi room music experience in the most affordable way.
